Let's get uncomfortable! My name is Claudia, and I empower people to lean into the uncomfortable by teaching them how to cultivate spaces free from hypersensitivity, so they can go beyond what is convenient and experience transformational change. As a child exposed to racism and verbal abuse, I am strangely comfortable with uncomfortable conversations. I realized this truth by excavating my own ideas, thoughts, and beliefs and uncovering my own biases. We all have biases nestled in our hearts and minds that affect our behaviors and decisions. When we excavate them, we can stop leaning into what’s convenient and start implementing policies and practices that are equitable for everyone. Whether in a social post, workshop, article, lecture, or sermon, I leverage a history-driven framework, born out of my insatiable appetite for reading, to fulfill my god-given calling to orchestrate enlightening, freedom-generating moments.
